Etiquette Classes & Programs - Fall/Winter 2013

1. Private, In-Home Enrichment- Back-to-School necessity!  A fun, in-home lesson plan developed to heighten students awareness and appreciation of basic manners and dining skills, time management skills, goal-setting, and assertiveness skills to overcome the awkward times of young adulthood.  A 3-course meal is suggested.  Recommended to all beginners ages 7+

Children will receive the following 1.5 hour lessons: formal dining/table setting, public behavior & restaurant manners, proper introductions (including phone skills), handshake, table setting chart/utensils/use of napkin, European vs. American dining styles, do's & don'ts of table manners, basic social skills, beating boredom, fun goal-setting & achievement to increase autonomy & confidence, and basic assertiveness training.  Excellent for young people with emotional/behavioral/developmental special needs!





2. Special Occasions and Formal Etiquette - Sweet 16's, graduations, anniversaries, weddings, bar/bat mitzvah, and international travel are all worthy of celebration and excitement. 

Prepare your child with the know-how and confidence to shine at social events!  These lessons will include formal invitations, R.S.V.P., formal table-setting & dining skills, name cards, gift-giving, receiving lines, menu, toasting, and do's & don'ts for formal occasions.  A 5-course meal is suggested.  Recommended for all ages.





3. Tea & Social Skills - Enjoy formal tea & etiquette classes with your children this summer in a relaxing, fun environment intended to stimulate the appreciation of good behavior, social skills, and consideration.  Role-playing activities (how to be a good host/hostess, tea party set-up/menu/fare, and how to be a gracious guest) and mock situations.  Beginner-friendly course for ages 6+





4. Safety Skills - We should all be concerned with sexual safety when it comes to our children.  I have worked with hundreds of sexual offenders of all types in the criminal justice systems in a therapeutic capacity.  I have the first-hand experience in counseling sexual offenders as well as the legal knowledge to educate you & your children on the NJ Sex Offender Laws, including Megan's Law, as well as safety & social skills to empower your child from becoming a victim of a sex crime.  Discussions & instruction are offered in a serious, yet age-appropriate capacity, and in accordance to each child's needs and/or intellectual capacity.  Recommended for ages 5+





5. Anti-Bullying Education & Character Education - Schools & youth organizations have recently received state grants to offer their student body anti-bullying education.  I travel to New Jersey schools, classrooms, & youth organizations to provide solutions to children & young adults in the prevention of bullying.  Interactive discussions & activities are designed to troubleshoot bullying behavior & violence by educating awareness & solutions.  Expect interactive activities, games, & discussions aimed to enhance character, self-esteem, social skills, healthy friendships, & awareness.  Courses are age & learning appropriate and recommended for groups of children ages 6+

All lessons are customizable to parent's wants & child's needs.  They are filled with fun, interactive learning experiences (ie. games, puzzles, quizzes, discussions, journaling, & critical thinking) designed to increase child's retention, enjoyment, & appeal of content.
